The TCST2103 is a transmissive sensor that includes an infrared emitter and phototransistor, located face-to-face on the optical axes in a leaded package which blocks visible light. This device is designed to detect the presence of an object or material and provide a signal to the system when it is reached.

Featuring a through-hole design for easy installation that is compatible with most standard industrial controllers. It is designed with a high-sensitivity optical sensing element making it ideal for applications such as 3D printers, CNC machines, and other automated systems.
